On Friday 17 March 2017 A.T.J.C. made a Submission to the Inquiry into Drug Law Reform.
A.T.J.C. made numerous recommendations, including, calling for decriminalisation of drug use and possession, that numerous safe injecting facilities be established, needle syringe program be piloted in prisons and policing practices adopt harm reduction methods.
The Inquiry’s findings will be released no later than 9 March 2017.
